Meet Mark

Mark is originally from the greater New York area (Southern Connecticut).  He has lived in Tucson, Arizona for over 30 years and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Texas Tech University and an MBA from Texas A&M University.  He has almost forty years of experience in finance, accounting and tax in both public practice and as a chief financial officer in private industry.  Mark’s career started in international banking, and has included work in the securities industry, manufacturing, and in the practice of domestic and international tax including compliance, planning and consulting for small to mid-size businesses and families, estates and trusts.

Mark is experienced in accounting and technical tax compliance and consulting for partnerships, LLCs, C and S corporations, trusts, estates and for individuals whose needs may range from simple to complex.  Mark also has expertise in international taxation.

Mark is proud of his ability to reduce complex tax and accounting issues to understandable ideas for his clients, empowering them to make good decisions about their business and family finances.   Mark’s background in both industry and public accounting enables him to bridge a gap that frequently exists between business owners who can be mystified by tax matters, and tax practitioners who can sometimes think the only purpose of any business enterprise is to reduce tax.
